Scanning your paper documents into an electronic format is not only to prepare your documents for eDiscovery, but also an efficient way to economically preserve and store your data.



The BlueStar facility has experienced document specialists, high-speed equipment, and extensive quality control to guarantee the highest degree of consistency. Our document scanning process includes the following:

  • Document preparation, including bar-coding and/or document assembly with breaks sheets to accurately match the images to the original documents
  • Highly experienced image operators scanning the documents
  • Computerized numbers can be assigned to the documents, offering an efficient and cost-saving substitute for manual numbering
  • Utilizing optical character recognition (OCR), scanned documents are converted into images with searchable text facilitating keyword searches
  • Bibliographic coding of the scanned documents allows for electronically categorizing, indexing and searching within the database
  • Images are exported into the requested format (e.g. TIFF, PDF, JPEG, etc.) and transferred to a CD or DVD
